A nice race, challenging first 2 miles.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Percy Sutton Harlem 5K Run. A <a href=\"http:\/\/nyrr.org\/races-and-events\/harlem-5k-run\">nice 5K<\/a> celebrating the Harlem week. The first 2 miles had a pronounced hill but then most of the course was downhill with the last bit completely flat. I did not PR on this one but I had fun and weather wasn&#8217;t that bad.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/josevnz\/7859030264\/\" title=\"It is too hot! by josevnz, on Flickr\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"http:\/\/farm8.staticflickr.com\/7255\/7859030264_795748db30.jpg\" width=\"375\" height=\"500\" alt=\"It is too hot!\"\/><br \/>\nThe day of the race was not that hot, but it was pretty humid. Things like this helped \ud83d\ude42<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Also I finally got back <a href=\"http:\/\/kodegeek.com\/blog\/2012\/07\/11\/nike-sportwatch-gps-1-year-later-ready-to-go-to-the-garbage-can\/\">my watch from Nike<\/a>, after they agreed to make an &#8216;exception&#8217; for me and give me a new one. It was a nice gesture from them, but still doesn&#8217;t solve the issues about the lack of extended warranty or the fact than once your watch is damaged you will need to purchase a brand new one (hopefully I will have to wait another year for that to happen and then will switch to something else).<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/josevnz\/7848024148\/\" title=\"Got a new watch from Nike by josevnz, on Flickr\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"http:\/\/farm9.staticflickr.com\/8445\/7848024148_fabb5ded83_c.jpg\" width=\"600\" height=\"800\" alt=\"Got a new watch from Nike\"\/><br \/>\nI agree, let&#8217;s go and run some more<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Now I&#8217;m preparing for the last 2 races so I can secure my spot at the NYC Marathon next year.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Percy Sutton Harlem 5K.
